As one of the only Latin American bands to have rightfully earned the title of genre originator, Los Violadores were founded in 1981 in Buenos Aires by Hari B, Pil Trafa and Sergio Gramatika – a time of military dictatorship in Argentina. Following Hari B’s departure, Stuka took up the guitar and El Polaco joined as bassist, solidifying the classic line-up.
