‘Fetch the Bolt Cutters’ is the fifth studio album from iconic American singer-songwriter Fiona Apple. She created the record over the course of five years, mainly at her home in Venice Beach alongside with Amy Aileen Wood, Sebastian Steinberg and Davíd Garza. The experimental LP features unique percussive sounds and resists categorization. Instead of solely relying on usual instruments, Apple uses unconventional found-objects for percussion. She named this “percussion orchestras” which lend the record an industrial-like atmosphere full of contrasting traditional melodies and unorthodox pop structures. Double vinyl LP pressing.
